In the UK 67% of men and 60% of women are overweight or obese according to NHS data, with over 40% of adults with one or more disability taking part in less than 30 minutes of physical activity per week.

Through our sessions below we are looking to support the demand on local frontline health services whilst increasing opportunities for marginalised groups to be physically active; tackling inequality and providing increased sporting opportunity for all, as well as raising overall levels of happiness, life satisfaction and sense of worth.

Bright Horizons Cafe

The Bright Horizons Café is a great opportunity for members of the local community to gather together at the home of the U’s and have vital time to talk to one other.

Community Cafe

A safe and friendly space for local people to access with friends and family, or to meet new people.

Inclusive Football

We provide a number of inclusive football sessions to help tackle inequality and provide increased sporting opportunity for all.

Walking Football

Walking Football is a fun and safe way to enjoy football with no running, jogging and reduced physical contact. Suitable for all.

Wellbeing Walk

Our walk takes us through the local green spaces of the Abbey Ward and Trumpington in Cambridge. It is a great way to get outside, socialise, and improve your physical and mental health.
