Foundation to host ‘Pumpkins at the Abbey’ fundraiser

Carve, share, WIN! Take part in our 2025 Pumpkins at the Abbey carving competition!

Cambridge United Foundation are hosting a pumpkin carving competition fundraiser, participants can enter online by sending in photos of their carved pumpkins, with the chance to win Cambridge United prizes. 

Additionally, there will also be a special workshop available in collaboration with Rowan Humberstone for those that want to join. This is an additional add-on separate from the carving competition.

Carving Competition

Registration for the competition opens on October 10th and all submissions must be made by the entry deadline of midday on Halloween; October 31st . 

Shortlisting for the winners will be made between October 31st and November 2nd; the winners will be separated into two categories: Juniors and 14+.  The best submissions will be selected and then a public social media vote will decide the winners which will be announced on November 3rd on social media and our website.

Prizes for the winners from both categories are as follows:

• Junior winner: CUFC mascot experience package

• 14+ winner: CUFC tickets + signed shirt

Carving Workshop

Our carving workshop in collaboration with Rowan Humberstone will be held on Thursday 30th October, 10:30am – 12:00PM, in the Regent Lounge of the Cledara Abbey Stadium. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and participants will have the chance to receive expert carving advice to assist with their pumpkin creations.

Tickets start from just £10 per person and will include a pumpkin, carving kit, decorations and the expert led class. Tickets can be purchased here.
