Holiday Activities & FOod (HAF) Programme

Research has shown that the school holidays can be pressure points for some families.

For some children this can lead to a holiday experience gap, with children from low-income households being: less likely to access organised out-of-school activities, more likely to experience ‘unhealthy holidays’ in terms of nutrition and physical health & more likely to experience social isolation. Our work in the holidays tries to address this.

Working with the County Council, Circus Skills, Samba Drumming & Glow in the Dark Dodgeball are just some of the exciting activities to expect at a Cambridge United Community Trust Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) camp. Working in partnership with the amazing local charities such as Abbey People, we provide a programme which combines workshops, activities and food.
